Dear Joke & Biagio,
I’m an old guy who has been doing this on and off for a while: Writing/Producing, development, EP’ing–all at various levels. It’s been a few years since I seriously developed and pitched shows and the landscape has changed drastically.
As someone in my 50’s who’s trying to “break back in”, is age a barrier? Your podcasts are spot-on and full of useful information-which I am taking to heart, but I wonder if my age will be a hindrance if I actually sell a series? (Let’s assume I am willing and able to put in whatever work is necessary and that stamina is not an issue).

Great question, Mike! Many, many people have similar apprehensions.
Now, there’s no way to sugar coat this — making it in the entertainment industry is hard…period.
